Personification Personified...

A recital in carnatic music bt Ms. Rekha and Seema Rao was organised @ manipal.edu. BTW it is the name of the headquarters of Manipal University. I, well, did attend it, and though I didn't get a word of what they sang, I could comprehend that they were primarily bhajans, or hyms. But whatever they were, what I did admire was the coherence in their singing. Each note was perfectly delivered, even to the minuteness of matching vocal frequency. It was like just 1 singer is performing. Amazing. Again, on mridangam was Ved. Devesh Bhat, and on violin Smt. Vasanthi Ram Bhat, who did an impeccable job accompanying the vocalists. A good show in all.

The only problen was that the number of students there was not exactly amazing, just about 7-8. Rest of the 50 odd people were either staff, ot families and friends...
