Personification Personified...

This saturday, it so happened that I packed my bags and proceeded to the Udupi station. It was a half day in college, and the next two days, i.e. sunday and monday were off. Monday, cuz it was Republic day. At the station, the next train was going towards mumbai. I got on to the general compartment. Many like-minded fellas had joined me in that compartment. BTW, mine was a group of four, A V, Karan, Raunaq, and me. Four-and-a-quarter hours later when the train (Matsyagandha Exp.) pulled into a station called Madgaon, we felt that we could no longer bear the general compartment, and we disembarked. Again, a lot of like-minded people did. And before we knew it, the train rolled off. We went out, and saw that there was a pre-paid taxi stand. We had heard a lot about this state, it's beaches et al. We consulted a map painted on the wall, and started arguing where to head off to. Most of the people (~90%) were headed to Baga beach. That was instantly ruled out. Would be too crowded, and a lot of college people would be around. Hardly our type of a holiday. Karan had gone to this beach called Benaulim before, so we decided to go there. Our cab driver said that colva has more hotels and joints, but not a place was empty there. We finally checked into Carena Beach Resort @ Benaulim. It was already 10:15 by the time all this ended. After the initial settling into the room, we went to the beach. Took us 25 minutes to walk to it. We had heard a lot of positives about this shack called Jhoncy. As we approached the sea, this place was well-visible. And I must say, I had one of the best pork chilly frys ever. After a long, filling, and royal dinner, we went back to the resort. And retired for the day.
